As a Junior Field Services Engineer, you will be delivering a wide range of services including standard maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and calibration of Waygate Technologies equipment. You will be working on Phoenix 2D & 3D CT X‑ray testing machine hardware and software at both Waygate and customer locations. This role requires extensive travel, expected to exceed 70%.

As a Junior Field Services Engineer, after completing a rigorous technical training program, you will be responsible for:
Maintaining, repairing, and installing industrial X‑ray systems and supporting peripheral equipment such as X‑ray tubes, generators, coolers, scanners, stepper motors/controllers, power supplies, high‑voltage control circuits, motion control systems, and high‑end PCs.
Providing technical support to customers via phone and on-site service visits.
Completing service reports, invoicing packages, and administrative documentation in a timely manner.
Driving customer satisfaction by delivering high‑quality service and honoring commitments.
Monitoring site safety throughout the execution of all work scopes.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a four‑year technical degree (AEET, AMET) with experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment OR have a four‑year degree in Electronics (BSEET, BSEE) or Mechanics (BSMET, BSME).
Have the ability to regularly lift/move up to 20 lbs. and frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs.
Have the willingness to undergo background checks including employment verification, criminal history, driving record, and education.
Have the ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
Have a valid driver’s license and passport (or the ability to obtain one).
Have valid U.S. citizenship status.
