Job Summary:
The Junior Electrical Engineer is an entry level role in supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment used in our manufacturing processes. This role works closely with the management and collaborates daily with production floor teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize equipment performance, and support ongoing projects.
Job Functions:
· Assist in the design, testing, and documentation of electrical systems, components, and equipment.
· Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical machinery on the production floor.
· Collaborate with management team on process improvements, automation initiatives, and equipment upgrades.
· Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide timely support to production teams to minimize downtime.
· Gather and analyze data to help improve system reliability, efficiency, and safety.
· Maintain accurate engineering documentation, drawings, and specifications.
· Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
· Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to ongoing engineering projects.
· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field (required).
· 0–2 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment (internships/co-ops welcome).
· Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
· Basic understanding of electrical systems, automation, and control systems.
· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Hands-on mindset and willingness to spend time on the production floor.
Physical Requirements:
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to learn and apply new information and/or skills. Must be able to interpret data, information, and documents.
· Occasionally will need to lift/and or move up to 45lbs.
· Moderate environment temperature and noise level.
· Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity. Noise level may be loud at times.
