Primary Function:
Performs the duties of Material Handler, Set-Up Prep and under the direction of the trainer, completes the required training to become a Process Tech I.

Required Skill/Knowledge:
Required at least 3 years of manufacturing experience that includes providing raw materials to production lines, technical set up and operation of manufacturing workstations and demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues. Self-starter who takes the initiative to complete training and coursework and takes ownership of their learning, collaborative team player, ability to apply critical thinking in order to solve problems, attention to detail and organized, good communication skills both written and verbal with ability to read written materials and follow work instructions, basic computer skills, good interpersonal skills, dependable, able to adapt to frequent changes, basic math skills. Demonstrates safe work behaviors and a willingness to improve and develop skills.
Preferred Skills / Knowledge:
Previous manufacturing experience, use of hand and power tools, ISO standards, use of pallet jacks or other industrial mobile equipment.
Education Level / Required Certification:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
Additional Information:
Frequently required to reach with hands and arms, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, sit, walk, stand or balance and work within tight spaces. Ability to climb stairs and ladders. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. Exposure to noise and odor of plastic. Exposure to liquid colorants, alcohol, cleaning, and slip agents. Requires use of personal protective equipment. Required to operate overhead crane and electric pallet jacks. Will be required to satisfactorily complete all assessments and assignments prior to advancement to the next level in training program. Must be able to work 3rd shift. Overtime as required. Other duties as assigned.
