Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain piping systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
• Conduct inspections and tests on piping systems to identify leaks and ensure proper functionality.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices and junior pipefitters.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Pipefitter license or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipefitting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be able to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.
