Appleton Electric, a growing metal casting foundry in South Milwaukee, WI is looking for a Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic to join our 2nd shift team. The rate of pay is $28.62/hour plus a $.75/hour shift differential increasing to $29.48 in June. This role performs mechanical duties to keep machines, equipment or the structure of our facility in repair. Your role involves performing mechanical duties to keep machines, equipment and the structure of our facility in repair. You will perform preventative and predictive maintenance functions. Knowledge of motors, air compressors, dryers, conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems. Troubleshooting failures on Industrial manufacturing equipment. Perform welding, pipe fitting, and machining, carpentry, plumbing and installation of equipment.
Some of the benefits for this position include a $.75/hour shift differential, overtime on hours worked over 8 hours in a day, prorated two weeks’ vacation and up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave.
