Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise fiber optic installation and maintenance projects from start to finish.
• Conduct site assessments and develop project plans to ensure timely and efficient execution.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols.
• Perform splicing, testing, and troubleshooting of fiber optic cables and systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and other teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in fiber optic technology.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Fiber Optic certification or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fiber optic installation and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of fiber optic theory, installation techniques, and testing procedures.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using fiber optic testing equipment and tools.
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
