Journeyman Electrician – Iowa License or Reciprocity Eligible
Summit Service Solutions exists to put skilled tradespeople on work that lasts—and to treat them like the professionals they are. For close to a decade, we’ve staffed commercial and industrial electrical work across The United States. As a Journeyman Electrician you’ll own first-shift, long-term installs, upgrades, and troubleshooting that keep projects on schedule and plants running. Your craft, your tools, your standards—backed by a team that values safety and integrity.
Performance Objectives
- Install EMT, rigid, IMC, and flex conduit, panels, lighting, and equipment so systems pass inspection the first time and meet NEC.
- Read prints, one-lines, and specs; layout and bend accurate conduit runs that coordinate with other trades without rework.
- Pull, terminate, and test feeders and branch circuits; verify voltage, rotation, and load so equipment commissions without delay.
- Troubleshoot faults and restore power or production quickly, documenting repairs that hold up under audit.
- Keep the work area clean, follow OSHA and LOTO every day, and leave the site safer than you found it.
License Requirement:
Must hold a valid Iowa electrical license or a qualifying electrical license from one of the following reciprocal states:
AK • AR • CO • MN • MT • NE • NH • ND • OK • SD • TX • WI • WY
Out-of-state electricians are encouraged to apply. Iowa offers electrical license reciprocity with these states, subject to Iowa licensing requirements.
