Summary
The Custodian supervises a small team of forklift drivers to maintain the grounds of a vegetable processing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervises a team of seasonal Grounds Utility Forklift Drivers
- Retrieves pallets and other supplies that are needed for plant processes
- Maintains the appearance of the outside grounds
- Receives supply shipments from vendors
- Manages on-site pallet yard inventory
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Preferred previous supervisory experience
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to balance multiple tasks, be flexible and work well under pressure
- Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision and exercise good judgment; ability to lead a group of employees
- Ability to work weekends, shift work and overtime
