IT Technical Analyst, PLEX MES Automation and Orchestration (Kors Mach2)



GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY

To support the objectives of Aludyne Inc. Information Technology Department. The Mach2 Technical Analyst is responsible for documentation, and software training, development and support of installed PLEX Mach2 systems.

  


DUTIES

  1. Provides first and second-level support for common Mach2 MES application questions.
  2. Maintains departmental documentation related to PLEX Mach 2 projects and changes 
  3. Performs special assignments as delegated.
  4. Maintains accurate equipment and software information and licensing related to PLEX Mach2.

Requirements

  JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Must be strong in Project Management skills and able to direct and track given resources to complete milestones and final goals.
  • A working understanding of all Plex Mach2 MES functional areas.
  • Experience with the UX interface of Plex.
  • Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Ability to deal with multiple levels of people effectively, in group and individual settings.
  • Advanced computer literacy.
  • Ability to learn new programs, activities and tasks.
  • Good oral/written communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to facilitate small group meetings.


Travel

  • Must be able to travel to manufacturing sites within the United States.
  • Travel is seldom, and only when necessary.
  • When travel is necessary, maximum length is 5 days in extreme cases.


Knowledge

  • BA preferred with 1 - 2 years of experience.
  • Expertise in Mach2 System (PLEX).
  • ODBC and Excel Pivot tables a plus.
  • SQL knowledge a plus.
  • Programming Experience a plus.
  • PLC Programming and Development.
  • User instruction/documents.
