Job Description

BAE Systems has an opportunity to support open source intelligence and requires a fully-cleared Lead Data Design Engineer available. This individual is responsible for the technical design and architecture of the project, leading the team in providing technical solutions to meet Customer requirements. In this capacity, he/she directs the integration of architectural best practices and ensures the development of technical documentation. The best candidate will have experience designing, developing, and documenting collection capabilities and services in the cloud. He/she will have the opportunity to utilize emerging AI/ML technologies to design and implement solutions that enhance security, agility, and effectiveness of open source collection capabilities.

 


Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelors degree and 10+ years of overall relevant experience
  • 7+ years of architecture experience designing, developing and documenting collection capabilities and services in the cloud
  • 5+ years experience driving innovation and optimization in the design, development, and deployment of collection capabilities 
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of emerging technologies, (such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud computing), to architect and lead the implementation of collection solutions that enhance the security, agility, and effectiveness of collection capabilities.

Preferred Skills and Education

  • 7+ years of architecture experience designing, developing, and documenting OSE specific collection capabilities and services in the cloud
  • Demonstrated knowledge of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud computing, to architect and lead the implementation of collection solutions that enhance the security, agility, and effectiveness of the OSE-specific collection mission.
