As an IT Support Specialist your responsibilities will be:

  • Member of our support services team responsible for troubleshooting end-user workstations and related hardware and related software (scan guns, label printers, laptops, tablets, etc)
  • Diagnose complex hardware and software problems and implement corrective solutions
  • Take active role in IT documentation as it relates to the support team
  • Active role in our imaging process and equipment deployment
  • Assist in managing system changes and rollouts as it affects the end user
  • Work with contracted third-party IT vendors that provide equipment and end-user support
  • Work with third-party IT vendors and offer support to other team members
  • Prompt response to system outages or service problems 

A strong It Support Specialist will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or 2 years direct IT experience
  • Understanding of and experience with Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory & Domain architecture
  • Hands on experience with Windows operating system and Microsoft suite (Apple products experience a plus)
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and environments preferred

  • Carry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism
  • Look for, report, and correct any near misses/unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possible
  • Identify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better way
