Job Overview:

This opening is intended to be a full time position
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Manage the IT segments of the project process for the discovery, design, delivery, implementation, and configuration of new business supporting technology solutions, and manage all segments of internal IT projects as directed.
  • Apply PMBOK knowledge areas and process groups to create and manage project documentation, gather requirements, define project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress.
  • Organize meetings to discuss project goals and progress
  • Tailor project management approach to specific needs and constraints of each project.
  • Delegate and oversee/monitor project task’s to the appropriate IT resources.
  • Track project performance, to analyze the successful completion of KPI’s, gateways, and completion objectives of assigned projects.
  • Manage business expectations related to IT workload/capabilities/priorities/constraints.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and suggest adjustments as required.
  • Interface with and coordinate the IT needs of all project stakeholders and resources.
  • Monitor and manage the IT portion of the project scope, cost, timelines, resources, quality, and risk.
  • Exercise autonomous and collaborative decision-making in reaction to changing project parameters to ensure optimal project implementation.
  • Proactively communicate all relevant IT related project information to key stakeholders, business units, IT staff, and external entities on a routine basis.
  • Distribute project status reports to stakeholders and project team on a routine basis.
  • Work closely with vendors and third-party partners within the realm of their role in projects.
  • Maintain responsibility for Cost, Scope, and Timeline targets for the IT portions of all assigned projects.

  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Working knowledge of PMBOK
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to communicate expectations and requirements between internal and external stakeholders and resources
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • College degree in business management, program management, or a related field, and/or a minimum of two (2) years progressively responsible project management experience preferred
  • Proven experience with the application of project management methodologies and techniques
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience with Cat dealership systems and processes a plus.

  • Must use hands for repetitive simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation.
  • Must be able to occasionally/frequently bend, squat and climb.
