We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an IT Project Manager in Boca Raton, Florida.
The IT Project Manager at ADMA Biologics will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of IT projects that support the company’s technological infrastructure and applications. The role will involve coordinating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring that projects meet both IT and business objectives. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software development, network administration, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders, to deliver projects that support business critical functions within the company.
Qualifications
Essentials of the job:
- Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of IT projects within scope, on time, and within budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Regulatory, and Manufacturing, to align IT projects with business objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution, especially concerning data integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews, in alignment with ADMA’s documentation standards.
- Vendor Coordination: Manage external vendors and service providers, ensuring that project deliverables meet contractual obligations and ADMA’s quality standards.
- System Implementation: Oversee the implementation of new IT systems and upgrades, ensuring that they meet the needs of the business and comply with industry standards, particularly in data integrity and validation.
- Compliance: Ensure all IT projects comply with relevant FDA regulations, including 21 CFR Part 11, and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, coordinating with department heads to ensure adequate staffing for project tasks.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the IT department, applying best practices in project management and agile methodologies.
- Training & Support: Provide training to end-users and IT staff on new systems and processes to ensure successful adoption and usage.
- Ensure project activities comply with ADMA’s quality management system and regulatory standards, including GMP and FDA regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, particularly those relevant to biotech and pharma IT systems, such as data integrity regulations.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and how it translates to milestones within an IT project.
- Experience using both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies for effective and efficient deployment of resources.
- Experience tracking story points and deliverables within an IT project
- Experience with common project management tools such as DevOps, Jira, Smartsheet, and Project.
- Experience acting as a Scrum Master and leading development sprints.
- Work Closely with leadership to understand site IT roadmap and how to effectively schedule and prioritize projects accordingly.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years of IT project management experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries.
- Proven experience managing projects in a GMP-regulated environment.
