IT Infrastructure Engineer

Infrastructure & Cloud | Lafayette, IN | Onsite

A global manufacturing organization is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, support, and improve enterprise datacenter and cloud infrastructure. This hands-on role offers ownership of technical projects spanning servers, virtualization, storage, automation, and disaster recovery.

What You’ll Do

• Design and deploy server, datacenter, and cloud solutions.
• Administer Windows/Linux servers and VMware/Nutanix environments.
• Automate infrastructure tasks using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Manage enterprise storage, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and secure access.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, maintain documentation, and share knowledge across the team.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong enterprise infrastructure experience across servers, virtualization, storage, and networking.
• Experience with cloud architecture, automation, and platforms such as Azure.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, VDI, and profile management tools such as FSLogix or DEM.
• Ability to lead projects independently with a security-first approach.
