Job Title: ISC Technician – Hole Watch Attendant

SKILLS REQUIRED

Primary (Must-Have):

• Experience in manufacturing environments

• Ability to follow safety protocols and work effectively in a team environment

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English

• Ability to observe and communicate with authorized entrants

• Knowledge of confined space hazards and activities being conducted around the confined space being entered

Secondary (Good to Have):

• Previous experience as a Hole Watch Attendant or Confined Space Attendant

• Experience monitoring confined space operations

• Experience with atmospheric monitoring equipment

• Experience with ventilation equipment

• Experience with emergency or rescue procedures

• Experience completing safety documentation and checklists

POSITION OVERVIEW

As an ISC Technician – Hole Watch Attendant, you will be responsible for supporting Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) operations by performing Hole Watch Attendant duties that ensure the safety of operators within Confined Space(s).

You will play a key role in completing documentation, monitoring for safety, and alerting entrants and/or supervision of any emergency situations.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Observe and communicate with authorized entrants and ensure they sign in and out.

• Know the hazards of the space and the activities being conducted around the confined space being entered.

• Observe no more than one entry point at a time.

• Remain outside the space until properly relieved.

• Understand requirements of the Attendant Checklist.

• Perform no other duties that might interfere with Attendant duties.

• Prevent unauthorized entrants.

• Know how atmospheric equipment functions.

• Know how ventilation equipment functions.

• Monitor for safety during confined space operations.

• Complete required documentation.

• Alert entrants and/or supervision of any emergency situations.

• Summon rescue when needed.

• Support safe and compliant Confined Space operations within the Integrated Supply Chain environment.
