Micro Metals is seeking a detail-oriented Invoicing Clerk to join our Accounting team. This position is responsible for preparing and processing customer invoices, ensuring billing accuracy, and supporting the company's financial operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with Operations, Sales, and Accounting teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  Essential Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices      accurately and on schedule 
• Review work orders, purchase orders, shipping documents, and pricing information for billing accuracy 
• Verify quantities, freight charges, taxes, and additional billing items 
• Enter and maintain invoicing information within company systems 
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies 
• Maintain organized invoice and billing records 
• Respond to internal and external billing inquiries 
• Assist with month-end accounting activities 
• Support process improvements that enhance invoicing accuracy and efficiency 
• Provide general administrative and accounting support as needed 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required 
• 5 years Previous invoicing, billing, accounting, or administrative experience preferred 
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required 
• Strong computer skills required 
• Experience with ERP or accounting software preferred 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel 
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy 
• Strong organizational and time management skills 
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines 
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
