Hours & Pay

Schedule: Monday–Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm
Pay Range: $18.00-$22.00/hr.

Position Summary

The Inventory Technician II is responsible for managing inventory operations to support production needs. This includes inbound receiving, organizing, monitoring, replenishing, moving, and maintaining inventory for the production floor. The role may also assist with outbound shipping to ensure timely delivery.


Responsibilities

  • Accurately receive incoming deliveries of purchased goods into the ERP system.
  • Report discrepancies in incoming materials to the appropriate team members.
  • Move parts from Receiving to designated storage or production locations.
  • Create and manage hot sheets; distribute parts accordingly.
  • Pull parts and supplies for production according to schedule.
  • Manage centralized and Point-of-Use (POU) inventory locations.
  • Stage parts for production cells based on schedules and whiteboard updates.
  • Open and dispose of packaging materials to present parts in a ready-to-use form.
  • Participate in material management improvement projects.
  • Assist with Return Material Authorizations (RMAs).
  • Set up and manage physical stock locations (bins, labels, supermarkets, mini-marts, shopping carts, overstock locations, etc.).
  • Initiate and perform cycle counts 
  • Support all other inventory movement, counting, or setup activities as assigned.

Materials & Equipment Utilized

  • Tape gun, utility knife, computer, WAV, possible power tools, forklift.

Working Environment

  • Office/manufacturing environment with clean conditions and low to moderate noise levels.
  • Safety glasses and other required personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as applicable.

Requirements

Education & Training

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 years of related experience or training preferred (or an equivalent combination).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic computer skills; experience with ERP systems a plus.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and workflow.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and fluctuating customer demands.

Travel Requirements

  • Minimal travel, primarily between Village company locations.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods, walk, climb, bend, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Visual abilities include close vision and color vision.
