POSITION OVERVIEW Seeking a detail oriented and highly motivated individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have the ability to research and resolve inventory discrepancies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Ensuring the accuracy of inventory records of products received and outgoing material.
- Conducts cycle counts.
- Identifying discrepancies preparing balance and shortage reports.
- Participate with physical inventories.
- Performs other related duties as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS: Successful inventory specialists should have excellent interpersonal communication skills, a firm grasp of basic computer programs, and an ability to work both independently and in a team. Ideal candidates will have previous inventory experience. - Electrical material experience a must.
- Travel to the Neighbor islands as needed.
- At least 3 years of inventory experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Proficient with computers
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to work on weekends as needed for physical inventories.
- High level of accountability, accuracy, and efficiency, especially in multitasking
- Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
- Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
