Job Description
Under close, direct supervision of material management specialists, this position assists in performing administrative and fundamental procurement assignments, material shipment tracing, and expediting activities with vendors, if necessary.
• Maintain material management logs and input material management commitment-related information into databases (such as approved material management reference system, SAP, etc.)
• Organize and maintain files
• Review technical packages received from Engineering; ensure correct documents are processed according to prescribed methods
• May be required to update approved material management reference system for buyers
• Issue weekly/monthly reports, as assigned
• Maintain Cash Flow reports
• Other duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements
• Currently pursuing bachelors degree in supply chain management or similar major
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
• Reasonably good interpersonal and communication skills
• Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs

The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
