What You Will Do *

The main role of the manufacturing engineer intern is to work as a project manager. Through the introduction of new equipment, continuous improvement, equipment modification or new tools integration, he will collaborate with different technical groups to meet the objectives. The autonomy of the intern will be a key skill to coordinate the different projects. He will have the opportunity to work with suppliers and integrators through his participation in the mandates of the team. The stimulating work environment is divided between the shop, the office and remote work.

What You Will Learn

Analyse problems and develop solutions (20%).

· Coordinate the project teams and execute projects on production lines (70%).

Prepare and present business cases (10%).
The responsibilities assigned to the candidates are adapted to the experience and the aspiring potential.

Qualifications You Must Have *

Be eligible to work in Canada
Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship
Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable
Pursuing a degree in engineering
Project management skills
Excellent communication skills in French and English (spoken/written)

Sur site : Les employés qui occupent des postes sur site travailleront principalement à l’usine. Cela inclut tous les employés de production et de maintenance, car ces employés sont essentiels au développement de nos produits.

Hybride : Les employés qui travaillent dans des rôles hybrides travailleront régulièrement sur site et hors site. Le ratio du temps de travail sur site sera déterminé en partenariat avec votre futur gestionnaire.

Télétravail : Les employés qui travaillent à distance, travailleront principalement de la maison. Si vous habitez à un trajet raisonnable d’un site RTX avec d’autres collègues avec qui vous interagissez, votre gestionnaire discutera de la présence sur site associée à ce poste.
