Job Overview:

A well-established technology integration and low-voltage installation provider is seeking skilledInstallers/Techniciansto join their team. This organization supports hospitals, healthcare facilities, churches, schools, and businesses by installing and servicing a wide range of communication, security, and audio/visual systems.

Ideal candidates have strong technical aptitude, enjoy hands-on fieldwork, and can work independently while representing the company professionally at customer sites.

Systems You May Work With

Technicians in this role may specialize in one or more of the following areas:

  • Nurse Call Systems(Healthcare facilities)
  • Sound & Paging Systems(Churches, schools, commercial buildings)
  • A/V & Control Systems(Boardrooms, training rooms, meeting spaces)
  • Cameras & Door Access Control Systems(Security environments)
  • Data/Fiber Wiring & Low-Voltage Cabling
  • Telephone & Cloud-Based Communication Services

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and troubleshoot low-voltage communication, A/V, sound, nurse call, and security systems.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Perform cable installation, terminations, and correct device hookups.
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues with strong field troubleshooting skills.
  • Work independently on job sites and manage daily tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure all installations meet quality, safety, and industry standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in clean and working condition.

Qualifications

  • Experience in low-voltage installation, electronics, A/V, access control, or related technical fields preferred.
  • Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in the field.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with cabling, terminations, and device setup.
  • Must be comfortable working in hospitals, schools, and various commercial environments.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred (but not required)

  • Prior experience with nurse call systems, A/V control equipment, camera systems, or access control hardware.
  • Certifications in low-voltage systems, A/V installation, or security technology.
