Roberts Sinto is currently seeking an International Specialist to join our Team in Grand Ledge, MI
What You Will Do
International Specialist handles all international importing and exporting for the company. Coordinates the USMCA Compliance program for the company. Coordinates all Domestic trucking. Also assists with Shipping & Receiving as necessary in order to maintain efficient Warehouse operations. All managers, supervisors and employees are responsible for supporting company quality policies and initiatives, as well as promoting and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
General
Manages trade compliance policies and procedures
Coordinates all USMCA Compliance actions necessary to ensure trade compliance
Domestic Freight
Assists with Shipping Duties
Assists with Receiving purchased components and RS jobs for inventory.
Assists with Receiving manufactured parts from shop floor for inventory.
Processes return orders from customers.
Handles all importing and exporting of international shipments.

Additional classes (courses, seminars) would include the following:
Shipping/Receiving seminar
USMCA Rules of Origin Seminar
Tariff Classification Seminar.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, packing slips, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers, delivery personnel and other employees on the Company.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
