What You Will Do

Responsibilities may include working on tasks related to commercial engines, military engines or both depending on business need. May be required to obtain a security clearance.
Perform a rotation through Engineering Quality multidiscipline groups. Groups include Software Quality Assurance, Escapes Management, Quality Requirements Engineering, and Engineering Records and Standards.
This unique program led by experienced Quality professionals will ensure that our interns are learning, mentored, and intertwined with the organizations they support by having substantial work and projects.
Pratt & Whitney’s Engineering Intern program provides you with a flexible learning environment to help kick-start your career and provides us with the resources to meet our workforce requirements for the future.
We will provide mentorship to you by a senior engineer and exposure to senior management and executives.

What You Will Learn

Engineering Interns at Pratt & Whitney work on challenging, meaningful, and impactful projects across our business.
Our intern program seeks to help you develop an understanding of the aerospace industry and learn about our company and its operations.

Qualifications You Must Have

Enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0

Experience with data analytics & tools

This position is classified as onsite. Please ensure this role type (defined below) is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
