Job Overview:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Quality Dept is seeking a Junior Engineer in a development and quality engineering internship. This role is to support document control and management of quality reports for our customers. This endeavor will include SPC, research and recording documents. Also developing a system to bring our record system paperless and fully digital. 

  • Process Capability Analysis (CpK, histograms)
  • Creating Video Work Instructions 
  • Quality Control Daily Checklists implementation
  • Scanning, filing, document control of Manufacturing and Quality documents
  • Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) sheet validations
  • Internal Auditing of Business Processes and Manufacturing Processes

Education & Experience

Currently enrolled undergrad - Minimum 3.0 GPA

Skills

  • Understand GD&T and how to read blueprints
  • Strong computer skills, with ability to program databases desired
  • A working knowledge of python, VBA, data collection, and analysis is a plus
  • Quality Engineering and inspection knowledge
  • Strong problem solving and effective communication skills
  • Possess general knowledge in algebraic & statistical mathematics. 
  • Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents

Working Conditions

  • Onsite
  • Manufacturing/lab environment 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs
  • walk/stand about the facility 

Safety Requirements
