Job Overview:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist engineering staff to perform mechanical/process engineering evaluations for 1.6T module product development.  Able to follow written & verbal instructions from staff to perform DOEs.  Some Computer Aided Design (CAD) is required.

Education & Experience

  • Undergraduate enrolled in Mechanical Engineering program or equivalent.

Skills

  • Understand basic engineering principles.     Able to work independently as well as part of a team. 

Working Conditions

  • Full time on site for duration of internship program.

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.
  • Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
  • Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.
