Electrical Engineering Intern
Scot Forge Company is looking to hire an Electrical Engineering Intern for the Summer of 2025 at the corporate facility in Spring Grove, IL. An Electrical Engineering Internship at Scot Forge will provide a variety of experiences and exposure to the manufacturing environment, and application of engineering theory through project work. This internship will be part of an multi discipline team supporting the innovation group through their collaborative daily tasks to support a design project featuring material science mechanical testing equipment.

Anticipated Projects include:
- Research and development for new processes and equipment
- Electrical circuit design (logic, controls, and electrical schematics)
- Control systems PLC programming
- Electrical layout of machine and plant systems/components (devices, wiring diagrams, power distribution)
- Design electrical, and control systems.
- Develop written work instructions- procedures & best practices for lab technicians and electricians.
Qualifications:
Required Skills
- Junior or Senior standing in a bachelor’s program, majoring in Electrical Engineering
- Exhibits a high level of electrical aptitude and creativity
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple disciplines
Additional Requirements
- Must be authorized to work anywhere in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Must be able to pass a 90 day head hair drug test today.
