Job Description
The purpose of this position is to work on routine assigned tasks which are tactical and administrative in nature by assisting and supporting other Contract Management specialists and Technicians.
• Prepare, maintain, retrieve, and communicate records, reports, or documents that may be required to meet corporate and Contract Management requirements
• Provide support to Contract Management activities on large-scale projects; duties may include assisting multiple Contract Administrators and Contract Managers with the preparation and execution of pre-award and post-award activities
• Participate in the pre-qualification process of subcontractors; support Contracts Administrators in the pre-qualification process of subcontractors; issue a pre-qualification questionnaire to bidders/contractors, collect and consolidate the data
• Prepare and maintain all electronic and hard copy files in accordance with Fluor’s Practices for records retention
• Assist Contracts Administrators in the preparation and assembly of Request For Proposals and Contracts
• Audit invoices for mathematical errors, rate overages, and accurate time sheet charges; learn and Fluor’s Contract Management System (CMSism), or similar system, SAP Systems, and Fluor’s Reference Systems
• Other duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements
• A combination of education and directly related experience equal to three (3) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent appropriate General Certificates of Secondary Education or global equivalent preferred
• Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email; as well as intermediate use of spreadsheets and electronic presentations
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Self-motivated professional
• Ability to provide thorough and skillful administrative support
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize to achieve project goals
• Flexibility to handle multiple routine and non routing tasks on a daily basis
• Ability to learn contract management work processes and perform related tasks
• Ability to create and maintain tracking logs and lists
• Experience in creating expense reports
Other Job Requirements
Must be a US Citizen
Currently enrolled in undergrad or graduate program
• Stay current/updated with Contract Management practices and procedures; remain informed of current developments and potential changes within the Contract Management group

The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
