Position: Intern – Government Market Opportunity
Location: Headquarters – Moon Township, PA
Hours of work: Full-time position with hours generally Monday through Friday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Overview
Our internship program provides real-world experience enabling future professionals the ability to apply what they are learning in school, to applicable situations in a career field they are pursuing. This internship program helps interns gain additional skills that can be applied to future jobs.
The intern will work in close collaboration with Government Market Opportunities Project Team to execute AI powered queries to identify potential federal government funding opportunities for targeted Kuraray products/technologies along with the funding organization, including points of contact; historical funding; existing/historical contractors along with points of contact; upcoming opportunities
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Execute AI powered queries to identify potential federal government funding opportunities
- Organize and report results to the Project Team in actionable format
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and characteristics
- Punctual, reliable, detail-oriented, flexible, and adaptable to change
- Self-motivated and able to acquire new skills quickly
- Skilled in analyzing problems in a systematic and timely manner
- Ability to look for creative ways in offering new approaches
- Self-sufficient, self-motivated, and capable of multi-tasking
- High level of proficiency with technical/business information research projects
- High level of proficiency with AI queries/well-developed computer search skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a small team environment
- Comfortable working in remote (i.e. non-office) environment with frequent in-person and virtual interaction with the project team
Relevant Fields of Study - Working towards a bachelor’s degree or higher in:
- Computer Science, Information Science, or Marketing
Qualifications
