The BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina, supporting Combat Mission Systems is seeking a Quality Auditor (Dimensional Inspector). In this role as the Quality Auditor, you will support on the Weekend Shift

Included duities:
  • Inspect machined and/or welded parts to blueprint requirements for shipment to customer base;
  • Provide auditing support to shop floor operations;
  • Support on the Weekend Shift, Friday-Sunday, 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM.

Required Skills and Education

  • Typical experience and education requirements are a High School Diploma and 2 years related work experience, or the overall equivalant;
  • Must have experience with and/or knowledge of basic inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, and height gages.
  • Able to read, comprehend, and work to blueprints;
  • Must be able to support the Weekend Shift.

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Coordinate measurement machine (CMM) experience;
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge and experience;
  • Weld inspection knowledge/experience;
  • Faro Arm/Laser Tracker experience;
  • Keyence experience.
