BAE System is looking for a precision mechanical inspector to join our group in Nashua and Hudson NH. New hire will be exposed to different measuring tools and expected to learn how to use them to perform their daily job requirements. Examples are CMMS, Vision Machines and Optical Comparators.
Position is 1st shift (Monday - Thursday), 6AM start

Required Skills and Education
- Requires a High School / GED or Trade School education and 1 year of related experience
- Must have knowledge and the ability to inspect using GD&T
- Must have knowledge and be familiar with inspection equipment (CMMs, height gages, optical CMMs and optical comparator)
- Must be able to review and verify documentation to drawing and purchase order specifications
Preferred Skills and Education
- Experience in mechanical inspection or related machining experience
- Solid background / experience in mechanical inspection and drawing interpretation per ANSI.Y14.5
- PWB inspection experience
- Active IPC 600, 610, 620 certification
- Ability to inspect with hand tools ie. calipers and micrometers
- Familiar with and able to inspect with a CMM, height gage, and optical CMMs
Typical Education and Experience
Typically a High School Diploma and 1 year work experience or equivalent experience
