Job Description

Our client in Mentor, OH is seeking dedicated 2nd & 3rd Shift Inspectors (must train on 1st shift) to join there team in a dynamic shop environment. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality assurance in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products according to established quality standards.
• Utilize precision measurement tools and equipment to verify dimensions, tolerances, and other specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain inspection records.
• Identify and report non-conforming parts or materials and collaborate with production teams for resolution.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant experience preferred.
• Proven experience in inspection roles within a manufacturing or shop environment.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO standards) is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a mechanical aptitude test
