We have a great opportunity to join our Inside Sales Team at our Plymouth, MN branch. This is an on-site position that will provide quotes, sales and service, and will work with internal and external customers to ensure company goals are met and long-term positive customer relationships are cultivated. This role will focus on Plumbing sales.

Responsibilities
- Write orders for customers and cross-sell to promote additional products that align with customer needs.
- Answer questions, research and problem solve customer orders and respond to digital orders via phone, email, text etc.
- Oversee submittal, shipping, expediting, and billing processes on jobs.
- Lead generation: Identify and qualify potential customers through cold calls, emails, or inbound inquiries and grow customer relations through site visits and other customer engagement events.
- Participate in market planning and implementation of market strategies, sales meetings, vendor training and vendor representative engagement.
- Partner with other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Provide feedback to management on pricing, service, products, customer needs etc.
- Support/Help with Coverage for Counter Sales.
Qualifications
Education
- Highschool diploma or GED
- Associate’s degree in business or Tech School preferred
Experience and/or Training
- 2 years related sales experience (knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC components is preferred, knowledge of electrical components is helpful)
- Basic knowledge of plumbing products highly preferred
- Sales Skills. Ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions
- Math skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Aptitude for resolving customer inquiries or complaints quickly and efficiently
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations and to other employees of the organization
- Organized, detail oriented, strong time management skills. Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and collaborate within a multi-functional team
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- A team player – works together with others to accomplish common goals of company.
- Consistent and tenacious
- Self-motivated and self-starter
- 2 years in a customer service role preferred
- Wholesale distribution experience preferred
- Computer experience with different order management systems (Eclipse knowledge preferred)
Licenses/Certificates
- Valid US Driver’s license and/or reliable transportation
