Inside Sales Representative
Location/Hours: Folcroft, PA, M-F 7:00AM-3:30PM
Compensation:
$65,000–$80,000 Base Salary + Quarterly Performance Bonus (Target Total Compensation: $80,000–$100,000+)

American Wire Works and Ace Metal Works are growing family-owned manufacturers serving industrial customers throughout North America. We manufacture custom wire products, fabricated metal products, and material handling solutions used in a wide variety of industries.
We're looking for an energetic, customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping grow a business.
This is
not
a traditional inside sales or customer service position.
You'll become the commercial hub between our customers and our operations. You'll own the customer experience from quotation through invoicing while proactively growing existing accounts through outreach, relationship building, and consistent follow-up.

Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative serves as the primary commercial contact for many of our customers.
This role combines customer support, inside sales, account management, sales administration, and commercial coordination. You'll work closely with our President and leadership team to strengthen customer relationships, improve responsiveness, and generate revenue growth from existing and dormant accounts.
Success in this role requires someone who is equally comfortable building relationships, solving customer problems, and proactively creating new opportunities.
What You'll DoCustomer Operations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Send order acknowledgements
- Generate customer invoices following shipment
- Coordinate shipping documentation when required
- Provide delivery updates and order status
- Coordinate with production and purchasing to keep customers informed
- Ensure every customer receives timely, professional communication throughout the order lifecycle
- Resolve customer issues by coordinating internally with Operations, Quality, Purchasing, and Accounting
Inside Sales & Business Development
- Follow up on all customer quotations
- Conduct proactive outreach to existing customers
- Re-engage dormant customer accounts
- Introduce new products and manufacturing capabilities to current customers
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
- Schedule customer meetings and plant visits for our President
- Generate new opportunities within existing accounts
- Support marketing campaigns and outbound sales initiatives
- Build relationships with purchasing managers, buyers, and key customer contacts
- Maintain a disciplined cadence of outbound customer communication
Sales Administration
- Prepare quotations for standard products
- Maintain customer information within our ERP and CRM systems
- Track quotation activity and follow-up
- Coordinate customer onboarding
- Maintain customer pricing and commercial records
- Generate sales reports and pipeline updates
- Assist with non-inventory purchasing
- Ensure customer documentation remains accurate and current
Commercial Coordination
- Work closely with Operations to communicate customer priorities
- Coordinate with Purchasing regarding material availability
- Ensure customer commitments are communicated internally
- Support new product introductions and customer launches
- Work closely with Finance to ensure accurate invoicing and customer documentation
- Help continuously improve the customer experience
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, customer support, or sales administration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Self-motivated with a proactive mindset
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

- Manufacturing or industrial experience
- Experience supporting B2B customers
- ERP and CRM experience
- Quoting or estimating experience
- Industrial distribution experience
- Experience supporting outside sales teams
