POSITION TITLE: Inside Sales Representative
DEPARTMENT: Sales
POSITION NUMBER: 6063
REPORTS TO: Inside Sales Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contact current customers on a regular basis regarding customer needs maintaining continuous communication between customer and OCIW.
• Sorne travel will be required during the work week.
• Assure customer issues are cleanly handed off to the appropriate employee/ department to handle
• Coordinate customer visits to OCIW 
• Assist in developing annual marketing and sales goals; also various strategic plans as required
• Continually prospect for new accounts; provide annual customer survey; assure prospects meet customer profile   that is consistent with company strategy
• Provide timely feedback on the status and competitive nature of quotes issued
• Review customer websites and vendar sites for assigned accounts at least monthly with the purpose of reading any news releases and watching for any new functions needing compliance; delegate new functions as appropriate
• Updating and revising of quotes/prices on repeat orders; expedite outside orders, especially those for pattern work and outside machining and make sure quality is being met on outside customer orders; acquire customer requirements and assist where necessary in working on all quality problems
•  Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned

JOB KNOWLEDGE , SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Must have valid drivers license.
• Must be able to travel to customers when necessary.
• Must be able to communicate effective both orally and in writing.
• Must have a good working knowledge of foundry operations.   
• Must have general computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel and good mathematical skills.
• Working within Foundry ERP systems a plus.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of work experience and skill development
• Five to ten years of experience in a foundry environment preferred
