Kintara is partnering with a growing organization within the electrical power distribution industry seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support its Electrical Power Distribution and Switchgear business.

This position serves as a critical link between customers, manufacturers' representatives, vendors, and internal teams by providing technical sales support, managing quotations, coordinating project information, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate combines strong communication skills with technical aptitude and enjoys supporting customers throughout the sales and project lifecycle.

**Responsibilities

**

● Support independent manufacturers' representatives and outside sales teams with exceptional customer service and sales support

● Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels

● Prepare accurate and competitive quotations utilizing internal resources and vendor information

● Interpret specifications, electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and project documentation

● Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers regarding pricing, lead times, product availability, and project requirements

● Maintain quotation activity, customer interactions, project updates, and territory information within the CRM system

● Track projects and support reporting efforts for sales leadership and field sales teams

● Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, manufacturers' representatives, vendors, and internal stakeholders

● Process orders and coordinate delivery schedules to ensure customer satisfaction

● Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services

● Stay current on industry trends, product offerings, and market developments

● Assist management and field sales teams with reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other business documentation

**Experience Requirements

**

● Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred

● 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, sales support, or related industry experience preferred

● Knowledge of electrical power distribution products including switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), panelboards, transformers, or related equipment preferred

● Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and one-line diagrams

● Experience utilizing CRM, ERP, or sales management systems

● Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills

● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
