Job Overview:

Rockford Systems is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to support our sales operations through proactive customer engagement, quote generation, and order support. This role is fully in‑office and plays a key part in driving revenue, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting our commitment to quality and safety-focused solutions.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:

**

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone and email

  • Generate and follow up on quotes, pricing, and sales orders

  • Support outside sales representatives and coordinate sales activities

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business

  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities

  • Accurately enter and manage orders in internal systems

  • Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and accounting to ensure timely fulfillment

  • Maintain knowledge of products, services, and applicable safety standards

  • Provide excellent customer service while meeting sales and performance goals

**EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED

**

  • Must be able to demonstrate a high level of customer services skills and abilities.

  • Able to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Adept in navigating through challenging tasks or situations.

  • Skilled in managing multiple duties and prioritizing items requiring urgent attention.

  • Detailed oriented, organized, and flexible.

  • Willingness to learn and gain knowledge on products & services, processes, and systems used.

**REQUIREMENTS

**

  • Minimum of 5 years of inside sales experience (B2B preferred)

  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast

    paced environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or ERP systems

  • Safety knowledge is a plus, particularly in industrial or manufacturing environments

  • Strong attention to detail and follow

    through

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
