Position responsibilities:
- Assist field sales reps in applications for warehouse products, make sure specifications fit the customer’s needs.
- Perform as liaison between company, field sales rep, and manufacturer for warehouse products – assist with sourcing products needed and in problem resolution.
- Generate proposals for pending deals.
- Process orders for warehouse products.
- Approve and process customer and vendor invoices.
- Process commissions for sales reps.
- Process required End of Month reports
- Work closely with Industrial Engineer on special projects.
- Perform as backup to team members as needed.
- Take care of walk-in customers as needed.
- Handle incoming phone calls.
- Maintain inventory records on allied products.
- Assist Credit Department with customer relations.
- Monitor inventory of allied literature, order as needed.
- Filing
- May be required to attend off-site functions occasionally (such as trade shows or customer outings)
- Perform projects as requested.
Essential skills and experience:
- Strong communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to multitask
- Knowledge of warehouse products and our industry
- Strong computer proficiency
