Job Description:
The Inside Sales Coordinator is well-organized to provide the necessary support to the field sales team and support our ambitious customers’ acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The successful candidate will become the point of reference for colleagues and customers by keeping schedules and providing feedback, documentation, and proposal information. The goal is to facilitate the team’s quoting and sales activities to maximize performance and development of the new and existing client base. The ISC must be comfortable making several calls, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.
Responsibilities:
Understanding customer needs and requirements
Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate leadership for further development and closure.
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
Maintain and expand panel sales prospects
Team with channel partners to build sales pipelines and close deals
Perform sales presentations and develop ongoing documentations
Partner with Sales Leaders to plan, prepare, and execute on strategic deals
Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses on sales proposals.
Collect and document competitive intelligence
Resolve issues to maintain and strengthen customer trust
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
Liaise with managers to develop specific sales strategies
Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
Qualifications and Experience
Proven inside sales experience
Strong phone presence and effective sales presence
Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong listening and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with aptitude in fostering long-term relationships
Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent presentation and creativity skills
Excellent in selling, negotiation, and meeting client requirements
Solid understanding of budgeting, reporting on progress, and market knowledge
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
Proven experience as tele-sales representative or other sales/customer service role
Develop national monthly sales reports
Handle Customer Service and Sales In-Box requests
An ability to manage the full sales training cycle
BA/BS degree or equivalent
Required Skills
Work with clients and outside sales in semi-complex buying strategies to ensure product availability, scheduling, quality, and to solve any project pricing issues
Prioritize demands for expediting while optimizing cost savings and efficiencies.
Develop a strong, positive rapport with our vendors and clients.
Serve as liaison between clients, outside sales, and engineering.
Participates in updating project plans, orders, and back-office systems.
Participates in the negotiation of prices and terms requirements.
Prepares requests for quotes and assists in the development of new supply sources; and evaluates market conditions.
Ability to prioritize independently to fast paced, changing demands.
Excellent oral, written, and analytical skills.
Computer proficiency also required (Microsoft Suite).
