Injection Molding Supervisor

Location: Greensboro, NC

Position Type: Manufacturing. Production

Overview: 

The Supervisor, Injection Molding will supervise, and coordinate activities of workers engaged in molding plastic products, applying knowledge of molding machine setup and operating techniques and production machining methods: Reads operating logs to identify inoperative injection or blow molding machines, determines reasons for machine malfunction, and arranges for machine repair.

Responsibilities:

• Review’s production schedules and work orders and assigns duties to workers according to order priorities.
• Studies quality control reports to identify product defects and directs machine operators to adjust machines to eliminate flaws.
• Examines molded products from each machine to verify conformance to specifications.
• Conducts or directs training of new employees in machine operations.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will be operationally savvy, detail-oriented, and possess prior Injection Molding experience, with expertise in offering superior levels of customer service. Candidates should have flexibility to work overtime if required.

• 8+ years of injection molding experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma / GED
• Ability to direct others in how to process out common defects.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership and multitasking abilities
• The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
• Excellent customer service, organizational, public speaking, and written/verbal communication skills
• Customer friendly, energetic, and highly organized
• Proficiency with spreadsheet, word processing, email and internet software
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs
