Job Overview:

Injection Molding Machine Operator

Pay: Starting at $16.00/hour

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM–4:00 PM

Overtime: Some Fridays as needed

Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Injection Molding Machine Operator to join our team. This is a hands-on manufacturing position responsible for removing molded parts from machines, inspecting finished products, installing metal inserts, and ensuring orders are completed accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Remove finished plastic parts from injection molding machines.

  • Inspect parts for excess plastic, warping, defects, or other quality issues.

  • Trim or clean excess plastic as needed.

  • Install metal screw inserts using a handheld heating tool to properly press and melt inserts into the molded part.

  • Accurately count parts for each order.

  • Verify finished quantities against the purchase order to ensure orders are complete and accurate.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Follow all safety and quality procedures.

  • Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Perform other production duties as assigned.

  • Willingness to work overtime, including occasional Fridays.

  • Previous manufacturing or injection molding experience is a plus but not required—we are willing to train the right person.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and work for the duration of a 10-hour shift.

  • Ability to use hands for repetitive production and assembly tasks.

  • Ability to lift, move, and handle production parts and materials.

  • Ability to maintain focus and accuracy throughout the shift.
