Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on injection molding machines to ensure optimal operation.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential problems before they escalate.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
  • Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting workflow.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in injection molding technology.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, in injection molding or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic systems and pneumatic controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
