Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Industrial Spray Painter to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for applying paint and protective coatings to pre-fabricated commercial buildings and building components using pressure spray equipment in a controlled factory environment.

The ideal candidate has experience operating airless or pressure spray equipment, understands proper paint application techniques, and takes pride in producing a high-quality finished product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate pressure sprayers, airless spray equipment, and other painting equipment to apply coatings to pre-fabricated buildings and components.

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and removing dirt, grease, dust, and other contaminants.

• Mix and prepare paints, primers, and coatings according to manufacturer specifications.

• Apply paint evenly and consistently while maintaining proper coverage, thickness, and finish. Inspect completed work for runs, drips, overspray, thin areas, and other imperfections.

• Perform touch-ups and corrective painting as needed.

• Properly mask windows, doors, fixtures, electrical components, and other areas that should not be painted.

• Maintain and clean spray guns, hoses, pumps, and other painting equipment.

• Follow all paint handling, ventilation, PPE, and hazardous-material safety procedures.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow production schedules and work efficiently to meet daily production goals.

• Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and specifications when required.

Qualification:

• Previous experience with industrial spray painting or pressure spray equipment preferred.

• Experience using airless or pressure spray systems strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of surface preparation and industrial painting techniques.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required

• Ability to consistently produce a quality finish in a production environment.

• Ability to work safely while wearing required PPE, including respirators when required.

• Good attention to detail and ability to identify paint defects.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to stand, bend, reach, climb, and work around large building structures for extended periods.

• Ability to lift and move materials and equipment as required.

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
