Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to sew various materials, including fabrics and vinyl.
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to specifications and design requirements.
• Upholster furniture and other products, ensuring a high standard of quality and craftsmanship.
• Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to enhance skills and product quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an industrial sewer or upholsterer, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of sewing techniques, materials, and upholstery methods.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot industrial sewing machines.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
