The Industrial Seamstress will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to manufacture and repair garments and textile products according to specifications. You will collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure high-quality output and timely delivery.
Essential Functions

Ensures all operational and safety procedures are properly followed, maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Operate Industrial sewing machines and other equipment to sew, stitch, and assemble garments and textile products.
Interpret blue prints, drawings and specifications to understand product requirements and assembly processes.
Cut fabric and other materials to appropriate sizes and shapes based on patterns or templates.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Perform alterations, repairs, and adjustments on finished garments and products as needed.
Collaborate with pattern makers and other team members to discuss designs, resolve issues and improve processes.
Clean, oil, and maintain sewing machines and equipment to ensure they operate smoothly and efficiently.
Manage time effectively to meet production deadlines and schedules.
Performance of other related functions as directed by supervisor.
