Gulf Coast - Industrial Sales Representative
Primary Responsibility
- Responsible for sales of ion exchange resins, activated carbon, and specialty media for water and wastewater treatment, with focus on the industrial marketplace.
- Responsible for market access/development (end users/distribution) and growth via new accounts.
- Provide technical support, training and advice to customers/potential clients using our products.
- Communicate regularly and proactively with management as to progress, trends and potential problems/issues with your area of responsibility.
- Manage sales trips and activity to effectively and efficiently accomplish responsibilities and objectives.
- Communicate and cooperate with varied departments and entities within the organization – technical department, marketing, customer service, etc.
- Attend and work booth at trade shows as needed or desired.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a science related field (chemistry, engineering, or other)
- Sales Experience Preferred
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills/problem solving
- Proficient computer skills/knowledge of general MS Office and CRM software
- Ability to travel regularly
Physical Requirements
- Sit, Stand, Walk
- Frequent Travel (35% to 50% per month)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Set up booth at trade conferences (lifting up to 50 lbs may be required)
