Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs to maintain optimal stock levels.
Collaborate with various departments to understand their purchasing requirements and timelines.
Analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform purchasing decisions.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
Resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or supplier performance.
Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in procurement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in an industrial setting.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of industry regulations and standards is a plus.
