PDS Tech Commercial is hiring experienced Industrial Pipefitters / Steamfitters to support operations for a leading aerospace company in Schenectady, NY. • Location: Schenectady, NY

• Industry: Aerospace Manufacturing / Research

• Pay Rate: $48.00/hour

• Shift: 1st Shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, fabricate, maintain, test, and repair industrial piping systems

• Support mechanical utility systems including steam, chilled water, compressed air, gases, and other facility services

• Perform pipe layout, cutting, fitting, installation, and modifications

• Install and repair valves, fittings, piping components, and mechanical equipment

• Troubleshoot piping system issues and complete corrective repairs

• Perform preventative maintenance on facility mechanical systems

• Read and interpret blueprints, piping drawings, schematics, and technical documentation

• Support installation and maintenance of equipment used in aerospace research and testing environments

• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, work orders, and service records

What We Need You To Bring

• 2-3+ years of industrial pipefitting or steamfitting experience – including the installation and repair of pipes, valves, fittings, and mechanical systems

• Strong understanding of industrial piping systems

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
