Aegis is partnered with a growing custom machine builder that designs and manufactures highly engineered equipment for the roofing and industrial manufacturing industries. Due to continued growth and multiple successful hires, they are expanding their team and looking to add an experienced Industrial Painter to support production operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare machinery and equipment surfaces for painting through cleaning, sanding, masking, and other preparation methods
• Mix and prepare paints and coatings according to specifications
• Apply coatings using air spray equipment, rollers, and brushes
• Paint both interior and exterior machine components to OEM quality standards
• Inspect finished products to ensure proper coverage and finish quality
• Maintain painting equipment and keep work areas clean and organized
• Follow all safety procedures and painting standards

Requirements:

• 3+ years of industrial painting experience
• Experience painting industrial equipment, machinery, structural steel, or heavy equipment
• Experience utilizing air spray systems and other painting tools
• Strong understanding of paint preparation and surface treatment techniques
• Ability to work from drawings, instructions, and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Experience:

• OEM or machine building environment
• Experience painting large industrial equipment
• Familiarity with industrial coatings and paint viscosity requirements
