Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our dynamic team in Columbia, SC, 29209. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces in an industrial setting. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed.
• Familiar with Metal Prep of Structural Steel.
• Prime and Finish Spray Painting with Industrial Enamel paints using spray painting from a pressure pot.
• Will be responsible for preparing and painting industrial equipment.
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired finishes.
• Apply paint using various techniques, including spray, brush, and roller.
• Inspect finished products for quality and consistency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment and tools.
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to enhance skills and efficiency.
• Currently working Monday - Thursday 7 AM to 530 PM, Friday 7 AM to 330 PM. Saturday morning work also available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in painting or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as an industrial painter or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
