Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Inspect finished surfaces for quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment and tools.
• Document work completed and report any issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Experience as an industrial painter or paint prep or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions.
